How to Install Wall Fabric Wrapped Panels?

Fabric covered panel is a kind of wall decoration method which packs flexible material on the surface of interior wall. It uses a soft texture material, soft colors, which can soften the overall space atmosphere, and its three-dimensional sense can also enhance the home grade. In addition to the role of decoration, more importantly it has flame retardant, sound absorption, noise insulation, moisture-proof, mildew-proof, anti-bacterial, waterproof, anti-oil, dust-proof, anti-fouling, anti-static, anti-collision function. Previously, the fabric wrapped panels are mostly used in high-end hotels, clubs, KTV and other places, not seen in the home. And now, some high-end residential real estate, villas and townhouses will use them in the decoration.

Fabric covered acoustic panels can be divided into three categories:1.Conventional traditional fabric panel. Construction technology: Lay with 9cm or 12cm base board, and then add a layer of 3-5cm thick foam pad, and then use the cloth or artificial leather or Leather finishes.
2.Soft roll. Construction technology: First fix the graphics on the wall according to the pattern need, filled sponge in the middle. Finally, plug the leather or cloth in the section with a knife.
3.Leather carved panels. Leather carved panel is a new type of fabric panel. It is hot forming under high temperature with special mold. Novel style, flame retardant and wear resistant. It is a relatively strong professional soft package, the general factory and the individual can not achieve the beauty of leather carving.

Cloth covered panel wall process:

1.Align edge of print string and sub-grid
Use the vertical line method, pull the horizontal line and the measuring with a ruler approach, determine the thickness, height and drilling position of the 
fabric covered wall panel according to + 500mm horizontal line (sub-file according to the size of the design requirements with 25mm × 30mm square wood)

2.Thwack the anti-corrosion wood wedge
Drill holes at the determined hole position, hole pitch 400 ~ 600mm, hole depth 60mm. After the wedge is treated with anti-corrosion, hit into the hole, squeeze solidly and firmly. This process does not apply to lightweight partitions, lightweight partitions need to make new skeleton according to design requirements.
3.Moisture-proof treatment
a. Ordinary wall moisture-proof treatment: Paint and brush with varnish.
b. Special wall treatment: Flush the waterproof paint on the plaster walls. The waterproof coating should be spread fully, brushed uniformly, do not leak.

4.Nail wood keel
a. Use of groove process to make wood keel frame. Wooden skeleton size can be processed into a piece or piece of pieces according to the actual situation and then assemble to the wall. Wood keel and plywood contact side should be planed smoothly and flatly.
b. Brush the wood keel skeleton with fire retardant coating according to the design requirements, the planed side of the wooden keel does not brush fireproof paint.
c. Put the prefabricated wooden keel against the wall, leveling and vertical with horizontal ruler, nail on a wooden wedge with a nail, nail and at the same time leveling and vertical, the larger part of the depression should be tightened by the wooden wedge.

5.Lay and nail plywood
a. Before nail and lay, first brush fireproof paint on the back of the plywood
board according to the design requirements. Note that plywood and wood keel contact part does not brush fire retardant coating, to ensure the quality of bonding.
b. Pain the wood keel with latex, brushing evenly, not leakage brush.
c. Sprinkle the plywood on the wood keel with a gas nail gun. When nailing, fix from the middle of the plate to both sides, seam should be on the wooden keel. If you use round nails, nail head should sink into the board, make it firm and smooth.

6.Marking off
Draw the wall, the cylindrical soft package outer frame and modeling size line on the base board according to the design drawings, saw blade board according to this line and assemble to the base board, using as the outer frame of the soft fabric panel. The method of molding a man-made board is the same as nail plywood.

7.Paste the lining material
according to the size of soft fabric panel surrounded by man-made board, cut out the required soft pack filling material, and paste at the surrounded part with adhesive.

8. Wrapped layer material, set and nail wood lines and decorative panels
Cover lining material with fabric, artificial leather or brocade from top to bottom:
a. Cut fabric, artificial leather or brocade and vise wood lines, the length of the wood line is cut according to the soft covered panel frame, cut 45 ° corner and seam at right angles, the fabric, artificial leather or brocade should be 50 ~ 80mm wider than the lining material.
b. Cover the cut fabric, artificial leather or brocade together with the protective plastic film on the lining material. Press the upper edge of the soft cloth on the edge. After flatten and smooth the cloth, artificial leather or brocade, cling to the wood line with a nail gun.
c.Pull and smooth the cloth, artificial leather or brocade, nail cloth, artificial leather or brocade lower edge of the wood line. Use the same method to nail the left and right sides of the wood line. The hornbeam line should be tightened and nailed, the fabric, artificial leather or brocade satin surface should be flattened and have no wrinkles.
d.Cut the extra fabric, artificial leather or brocade and protective film with the cutting knife along the edge of the wood line (with the man-made board seam)

9.Clean up
Carry out on-site cleaning, tear off the protective film on the soft fabric wrapped panel when hand over a completed project.
